Where, in previous years, a small brush truck could be used to gain access to the remote camps in our district, modern building trends began placing large summer homes and huge year-round residences in the same remote locations. Recognizing the need for getting more water to these homes the larger, all wheel drive vehicle was purchased to replace our 250 gal/min brush truck. This truck's role has evolved into our first-run truck to out-of-town MVAs as well as structure and brush/wildland fires.
